General Rules
We welcome a wide range of interpretations and personal artistry — the focus is on your musicianship and expression.
Repertoire

Free choice of programme — make it your own!

All works must be solo piano pieces.

The programme should suit and reflect your current skill level, and may draw from any musical period(s) to showcase variety and depth.
Video Recording Requirements
-
Videos must be unedited and recorded within the past 12 months from the submission date.
-
You may submit multiple separate videos (as long as the total duration stays within the category limit).
-
Please ensure the recording clearly shows your face, hands, and (where possible) pedals — we recommend landscape orientation.
Submission Guidelines
-
Upload your video(s) to a public platform (e.g., YouTube) and set them to “unlisted”.
-
Provide the link(s) in the application form.
-
In the video title: Include your category and full name (e.g., “Category E – John Smith”).
-
In the video description: List each piece with title(s), composer(s), and exact performance duration(s).

Pianists eligible for Category E are warmly invited to also enter Category F by submitting two separate applications.
Winners will be announced starting April 7, 2026

Pianists of any categories are welcomed to include Australian composer Max Kielly’s “Paths of Amber” in their programme, contributing to a complete performance under the maximum time limit of their relevant age group.
Performance of this new Australian set piece could be recorded as a separate video. Performance with score or by memory are both acceptable.
Pianists of any nationalities with “Paths of Amber” performed in their submitted videos are automatically considered for the selection of this special prize.
